About Us

Three Lions Underwriting Ltd was founded in 2002 as a joint venture Underwriting Agency between Munich Reinsurance Group and Bell & Clements Ltd, and started trading on 1st January 2003.

We manage and transact insurance business on behalf of Munich Re subsidiaries, including Great Lakes Reinsurance (UK) PLC, ERGO Versicherung AG, DAS Legal Expenses Insurance Company Ltd and HSB Engineering Insurance Ltd.

Three Lions has a dedicated team of experienced underwriters based in Birmingham and London who specialise in Commercial, Personal Lines and Personal Accident and Illness business, and they are on hand to assist with any enquiries. They are supported by a team of professionals who ensure that we provide an excellent service to our customers.
